Presentation at CPAC Forum 2025

The CPAC 2025 Forum was hosted by Parkerville Children and Youth Care on Friday 5 September. The day was marked by high energy and rich discussion among the group of professionals and leaders in child and family services.

The Children’s Policy Advisory Council (CPAC) is an initiative that brings together WACOSS Members to ensure a cohesive whole of sector response is continued to be developed around children’s policy.

The ACYWA team was grateful for the opportunity to present to this diverse audience. Marketa Reeves, ACYWA’s Project Manager showcased the Atlas platform in a co-presentation with Dr Sarah Priest, Research and Advocacy Lead -Parkerville, who demonstrated how Parkerville and WACOSS are applying it to enhance data-driven service planning.

We also contributed to a panel discussion facilitated by Chris Twomey, Leader, Policy & Research - WACOSS, exploring key child wellbeing topics and priorities. This included school readiness and the latest AEDC results, the newly established Office of Early Childhood WA, and current National reforms (the transition to universal early childhood education and care and inclusion support initiatives).

This engaging forum highlighted the sector’s commitment to collaboration and innovation in shaping the future of child wellbeing policy in Western Australia.
