YACtivate! 2025
On Saturday 14 June, a WA-based member of our Young People Advisory Group attended the annual YACtivate event, hosted by the Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA). They delivered a short presentation introducing the Atlas to attendees. Catherine, ACYWA’s senior project officer, also took part in the event, running an interactive stall that showcased the Atlas in real time. This event provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with a diverse network of youth advocates and raise awareness of both the Atlas and the important work of our YPAG.
The Australian Child and Youth Wellbeing Atlas YPAG comprises 12 committed young people aged 14 to 22, representing diverse cultural backgrounds and communities across Australia. Throughout 2025 and 2026, the group are participating in a series of initiatives designed to explore engagement and promotional strategies, supporting the ACYWA team in raising awareness of the Atlas among young people.
